Who Are We?

Probus Club of Owen Sound is a Member of The Probus Club of Canada, goal is to provide Fellowship, Friendship and Fun for men and women in their retirement and semi-retirement years. Probus Club of Canada and it’s affiliate Clubs, are not-for-profit organizations, holding monthly General Meetings to keep their minds active, appreciate hearing from Guest Speakers, expand interests and enjoy the fellowship of new friends.

Is PROBUS right for you?

If you are a retired or semi-retired professional or business person, age 55+ or know someone who has had some measure of responsibility in any field of endeavour, and might be interested in renewing career friendships, meeting new friends and listening to guest speakers once a month, then PROBUS may be the right fit.

Fellowship without obligation

A PROBUS Club is not a service club and it does not engage in any fundraising or charitable activities. It’s non-political and non-sectarian, and there is no restriction on the number of members from any one vocation, or membership in other organizations, service or otherwise. The essence of PROBUS is fellowship without obligation.
